Bryce Milsom

Bryce Milsom BHSc (Physiotherapy), PG Cert (Sports Medicine)

Bryce is a New Zealand trained Physiotherapist with a special interest in Chronic Disease management, Rehabilitation and Sports Physiotherapy. He is a trained Manual Therapist using both Manipulative and soft tissue techniques. He is also a FMS and Y Balance Certified Physiotherapist which is part of his functional approach to assessment and treatment. Recently he has completed his Health Coach training so he can help patients meet the long term health and lifestyle goals with a  particular focus on long term issues such as Arthritis, Type 2 Diabetes, weight management and remaining physically fit and capable throughout life.  

On the sporting front Bryce has worked with Provincial and International Rugby teams, NZ Football U15 Men’s Team, Silverdale U21’s Club rugby team and Coast Swimming club. Bryce has worked with Counties Manukau Netball Northern Netball Zone to provide a high level of physiotherapy services to their elite teams and assist with injury prevention using the Y balance and FMS equipment. Currently Bryce is working with Elite Golfers and Triathletes to optimise their movement performance and minimise injury risks.  

On a personal note Bryce and his wife Rachel have three daughters who occupy most of their time outside of the clinic. Bryce has competed for NZ at the 1990 Commonwealth Games and the 1991 World Student Games as a swimmer, and also coached competitive age group swimming to a National level. Bryce remains passionate about all sports and has also competed in Masters Swimming including holding several National records and medals at the Master World Championships in 2003.
